In summer time, I always take Phatty out everyday. She's always happy to go out and playing around with other kids.

She asks me every morning whether it is good day. If I say " yes", she will ask whether we will go outside or not and where we will go. Whether to play at the park or go to the lake in the afternoon. She will be the one who choose where to go, but it depend on weather also. It it 's sunny and hot, main choice will be the lake. The lake is not far from our home, it takes less than 10 minutes. Her papa will drive us there and let us play till I call him to take us back home. :)

 

Last year, she was about 3 yrs old, I took her out to this lake. Once she saw the lake, she was hurried to tell me to put her in swimsuit so she could get in the water. She didn't know how to swim at that time. Once she was ready, I told her that I would change my clothes so that I could take her in the lake. Guess what!!? I turned my back, she went down directly into the water very fast.... She walked and walked, she didn't realized how danger it was. Then I turned myself and saw what she did. I jumped out and ran to take her with my normal clothes and my phone was still in my jeans' pocket. The lake was deep down on the side that she walked into. She walked faster when she saw me ran to take her, till her face was down under the water in a second really, I took her out from the water.. Once she was in safe place, she cried very loud and still frightened! Shesaid that she hurt her nose cause she couldn't breath. I thought she breathe the water in her nose, that's why.. However, she got to play with her friends and made like nothing happen not so long after that. That's kind of accident that I never want to have again. Good luck enough cause Phatty still likes the lake even her first time was not so good experience. Some people could get scared and never touched it, I guess you know what I meant.

This year, she is little bigger. Still the same, she likes to be water same like other kids. This year she could understand things better. I talked to her how dangerous it is to be in the water if she doesn't know how to swim yet. I told her to wait till we were both ready to go in the water. We went swimming together. I told her not to go too far from my eyesight.
When she was in the water, I told her where it was the maximum she could go. At first she didn't understand what I talked about. So I showed her by taking her in the lake, I let she walked down into the water hand in hand. Then I told her to notice if her feet can touch the ground or not. She said " yes".... so we walked and walked, then she began to get scared and said that water were too high and it got in her mouth and she couldn't walk anymore. She continued to say if there was no my hand that she held she could not move alone.. I guess she know what insecure level is, it is kind of common-sense. It is like when kid meet stranger and they begin to scream or cry, etc.... So I said that the maximum was when she felt that it is insecure to go alone, when her feet can't touch the ground well, and she couldn't talk well, that means she couldn't go further. She nodded her head. I thought she understand it well.
